Great job as always Lauren. I did not consider the chalkboard as an obsolete piece of technology. It is because I view the interactive whiteboard as much more than an upgrade of the chalkboard. When the IWB is used without the interactive aspect then yes I can see the direction you shared. I like the examples of programs you listed in the retrieval quadrant. It is the resources at your fingertips which is the next evolution. I have a similar thought about the reverse. I think an avatar component in with a holographic component and AI would really be cutting edge.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it has replaced the chalk board. It is very interactive for classrooms to use for teaching and learning. All resources are stored and displayed on the board. I also agree that personal computers for each student that is liked with the teacher computer will be used in the future.
